Hip Hop & Transcending Duality

The pursuit of wholeness is recognizing and embracing the opposing aspects of nature: rational and irrational, good and evil, masculine and feminine, light and dark.  By transcending these dualities and integrating them, one can achieve a state of completeness.  What exemplifies this transcendence of duality more than Hip Hop?  Emerging from social struggles against inequality, hatred and racial injustice, hip hop is a reflection of these challenges.  Cultivating resilience and empowerment, resonating a state of completeness, transcending duality.
