Vest is made from a vintage Suzani, a one-of-a-kind hand embroidered textiles made in Uzbekistan.  Originally made for women's dowries, this embroidered technique has been passed down from mother to daughter since ancient times.  Each symbol, pattern and color are specifically chosen by the creator to tell a story.  

Pants are made from Uzbek Ikat uses a technique, abrandi, "bounded cloud". It is a process of resist dyeing, bounding the warp yarns, which later dyed by hand, before being woven with the weft yards. Wearing Ikat fabric was once equivalent to wearing gold medals, its artistry was recognized with prestige.
