Two years ago, Egyptian superstar Mohamed Ramadan released "Arabi" featuring American Rapper, Future and Lebanese-Canadian singer, Massari. In the music video, Mohamed Ramadan wears a Nida Lu Cape! With over 55 million views and my design displayed on billboards from Time Square to Sunset Boulevard, it was surreal. I had only stepped into my identity as a fashion designer a year and a half earlier, yet here was my work on a global stage. This incredible moment became the catalyst that propelled me to Paris Fashion Week, where I got to live a dream. From small studio in Lawrence, Kansas to the streets of Paris, sometimes you just have to trust where your creations will take you.
