Little Red Riding Hood Cape

The One-of-a-kind Little Red Riding Hood Cape was inspired by the misunderstood folktale.  Shorter than our traditional Aphrodite Cape, this cape can easily be worn in the woods, picking flowers, straying from the path, and jaunting with wild animals. Made from a one-of-a-kind vintage Suzani textile, hand embroidered by women in Uzbekistan. Originally these textiles were made for women's dowries.  An embroidery technique that had been passed down from mother to daughter since ancient times, perhaps since the time of Aphrodite.  Each symbol, pattern and color are specifically chosen by its creator to tell a story.  Drape yourself in a one-of-a-kind cape and be transported into the magical realm of the deep dark woods.
