Ikat Ring

The one-of-a-kind Ikat ring is made from a limited-edition cotton and silk Ikat hand loomed in Uzbekistan.  Uzbek Ikat uses a technique, abrandi, "bounded cloud". It is a process of resist dyeing, bounding the warp yarns, which later dyed by hand, before being woven with the weft yards. Wearing Ikat fabric was once equivalent to wearing gold medals, its artistry was recognized with prestige.

The Ikat Ring is made from 80% silk and 20% organic cotton with 24K gold plated brass.   

Size is adjustable, Center 2.5"x 2".
